Rubber Prices Today, February 22, 2025: Market Declines Again
Global rubber prices declined on both the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM) and the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE). TOCOM's RSS3 rubber price for March 2025 delivery decreased by 1.8 yen to 376.00 yen/kg. SHFE's natural rubber price for March 2025 delivery sharply decreased by 250 CNY to 17,725 CNY/ton. Heavy rain in southern Thailand may impact future supply. Domestically, tire manufacturers are recovering from the pre-Lunar New Year slowdown. While raw material scarcity supports prices, global trade tensions and currency fluctuations contribute to market volatility.
